All Voices Welcome:

- Mountain Vista UU Choir is made up of 15 to 25 volunteers—members, friends, and regular visitors. Like the congregation at large, we are a welcoming community: we welcome singers of all ages, abilities, and musical backgrounds. We sing a broad variety of literature, including folk songs, religious music from all traditions, classical music, popular, and gospel.

Our Director, LB:

- Since arriving in Tucson in 2006, our choir director, Lyle Brown (call him L.B.), has had positions as Staff Singer/Soloist at St. Philip's in the Hills Episcopal Church, Principal Tenor with Tucson Chamber Artists, and occasional member of the Wieck Chamber Singers and Tucson Symphony Orchestra Chorus. A Unitarian-Universalist since 1985, L.B. has been a member of First UU of Detroit since 1996, and served as choir director there from 2002-2005.
- LB is originally from Michigan where he received the B.A. degree in Music from Albion College, and the Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting from Western Michigan University. He has served as Director of Choirs at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, as well as teaching public school in both Michigan and Indiana. He was assistant director for the South Bend Chamber Singers and founding Music Director of Vox Humana, Detroit's Chamber Choir. L.B. is currently participating in the DMA program in Choral Conducting at the University of Arizona.
